On how the Cyberspace arose to fulfill theoretical physicists' needs and eventually changed the World: Personal recallings and a practitioner's perspective

The very humble origins of the Cyberspace, and all the related developmentsthat smoothly conspired and converged towards this concept, making itsemergence possible, as the personal computer, TEX and LATEX, the Fax, theinternet, the cellphone, and the World Wide Web, are discussed, always from apersonal perspective. A separate, comprehensive explanation of the reasons forthe appearance and subsequent evolution of each of these different phenomena,with explicit assessments and a future prospective of the main subject, ispresented.
